Hello!

My name is Caylin.

I grep up in a small town in Massachusetts with a grandfather who owned a photography studio. With that, my love for photography started at a young age where I would collect my grandfathers old cameras and thrift old Polaroids. In 2012, I graduated from Westfield State with a B.A. in Graphic Design & Psychology. For the last fifteen years, my professional career has varied from visual merchandising with American Eagle, to brand marketing and event planning. In 2020 I moved to Portland and eventually started @photoswithcay in 2023.

Since then, I have made myself a home studio and explored many different styles of photography including product photography, editorial, and most recently, wedding photography. I have always loved capturing images in a soft, vibrant, and almost nostalgic way. Nature, movement, and travel are a big part of my daily inspiration. When I am not behind the camera, I am also teaching yoga. Private yoga classes are offered through my site: JulyStudiosYoga.com
