Hi, I’m Caylin and I am a creative freelancer.

I always blame my love for photo editing on Myspace. As a teen in the early 2000s, I would spend my afternoons designing Myspace layouts and curating my profile playlists. After Myspace, it spiraled into reading Tumblr blogs, thrifting film cameras, digging through piles of my Grandpa’s film photography, and curating the perfect instagram grid. I’ve always had a passion for creating, editing, and seeing art in photographs, and little did I know I’d have the opportunity to work as a freelancer and create art for others.

Photos With Cay started in 2023 as a side project alongside my marketing career and has since grown into a full-time endeavor. My passion is capturing unplanned, natural, and magical moments that feel effortless. I specialize in portraits, romantic moments, lifestyle shoots, and brand photography. I work independently, every photo is taken and edited by me, using my own custom filters. My home studio is based in Portland, Maine, where I often capture most of my product photography.

With over 10 years of experience in marketing and 5 years as a wellness instructor, I bring a grounded and natural approach to every session. Whether you're getting eloped, hosting an event, or looking for cohesive imagery for your brand, I’d love to help you tell your story.

Each image is thoughtfully curated, with edits designed to complement the photograph. Most of my work is inspired by the early 2000s, time spent living in Texas, and the bright colors of Maine and my home in New England. AI is used sparingly, and no Photoshop edits are applied — just a genuine moment in time, captured for you.
